Follow @devour.kitchen for more. #DEVOURPOWER β€”β€” πŸ‘‡πŸΌ INGREDIENTS: (Makes 2) πŸ’₯ TACO BEEF - 1 lb ground beef - 2 tsp olive oil - 1/2 yellow onion, diced, - 2 tsp chili powder - 1/2 tsp ground oregano - 1/2 tsp paprika - 1/2 tsp cumin - 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper - Salt & pepper to taste πŸ’₯ NACHO CHEESE - 1 tbsp butter - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour - 1 cup whole milk - 1/4 tsp salt - 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper - 8 oz block sharp cheddar cheese πŸ’₯ ASSEMBLING - 4 big flour tortillas - 2 small crispy corn tortillas - Tomatoes, diced - Lettuce, shredded - Spray vegetable oil - Sour cream - 1 oz sharp cheddar, grated - 1 oz jack cheese, grated β€”β€” πŸ‘‡πŸΌ INSTRUCTIONS: - Make the taco beef. Add olive oil and diced onion to skillet over medium heat and sauté for 4 minutes. Add ground beef and break apart with spatula. Fully cook, then add your spices (from ingredient list above). Combine and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Set aside. - Make the nacho cheese. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until bubbly. Add milk and keep whisking. Allow it to simmer and thicken a bit. Add salt and cayenne pepper and whisk. Add cheddar cheese and stir until cheese is melted. It is ready. - Assemble. Place a small crispy corn tortilla in the middle of a big flour tortilla and cut a hole using a small, sharp knife. Save both small tortillas. Get another big flour tortilla. Add beef, nacho cheese, small crispy corn tortilla, sour cream, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheddar and jack cheese, and the small flour tortilla. Wrap outside of big flour tortilla on top of the small flour tortilla. - Cook the wrap. Add spray vegetable oil to a skillet (we used cast iron) on medium heat. Flip wrap over and place down (folded-side down). Cook for 3 minutes, flip for another 3 minutes. - Cut in half and DEVOUR!

DEVOUR-worthy CUBANO made in the @devour.kitchen! 🀀🀀 You guys NEED to try this. This recipe is adapted from the one and only @bingingwithbabish! πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ Special thanks to @thatbryerguy for helping out! #DEVOURPOWER β€”β€” πŸ‘‡πŸΌ INGREDIENTS: - 1 large Pork Shoulder - 4 cups orange juice - 2 cups water - 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar - 1/2 cup kosher salt - 1 cup spiced rum - 1/2 cup kosher salt - 1/4 cup sugar - 2 tbsp garlic, minced - 2 stems oregano, chopped - 2 stems rosemary, chopped - 2 stems thyme, chopped - 2 stems sage, chopped - 4 bay leaves - 1/2 cup olive oil - 3 oranges - 6 limes - 1/2 cup chopped cilantro - 1/4 cup chopped mint leaves - 2 tbsp garlic, minced - 1 tbsp kosher salt - 1 tbsp black pepper - 2 tbsp ground cumin - 1 loaf of Cuban bread - Butter - Deli ham - Swiss Cheese - Dill Pickles, sliced - Mustard β€”β€” πŸ‘‡πŸΌ INSTRUCTIONS: - Place your scored pork shoulder in a large bowl. Combine orange juice, water, rice wine vinegar, rum, salt, sugar, garlic, oregano, rosemary, thyme, sage, and your bay leaves. Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours. - Make the marinade by combining olive oil, orange zest and juice, lime zest and juice, oregano, cilantro, mint, garlic, salt, pepper, and cumin. Whisk. - After 12 hours is up, remove pork shoulder from the brine and place in the freshly made marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. - After 2 hours, remove pork from marinade and place in oven at 350 F for 2.5 hours. - After 2.5 hours, take pork out and let rest for 30 minutes in foil. - Start your cubano by buttering the pan and toasting the insides of the bread. Slice pork shoulder 1/4 inch thick. After bread is toasted, smear one half with mustard and the other half layer with pork, ham, cheese & pickles. Combine the sandwich and smear butter on the top. Butter the pan on medium heat and place CUBANO down, buttered side up. After roughly 2 minutes, flip and press down preferably with another pan for 2-3 minutes. Wait until bread is somewhat browned and cheese is melted. - Slice, high five yourself, and DEVOUR! πŸ‘‡πŸΌ TAG A DEVOURER! πŸ‘‡πŸΌ
