As @joshgroban would say: you raise me up so I can stand on mountains🌋😜 Homemade “Beef Bolognese” Pasta🍝 It’s good, it’s really really good👌🏻 LIKE + SAVE this post to make this recipe at home yourself🔖 INGREDIENTS: Box of Favorite Pasta 1-2 lbs Ground Beef 2 Onion (chopped) 2 Celery Stalk (chopped) 2 Carrot (peeled + chopped) 3 tbsp Olive Oil 3/4 cup Red Wine 1/3 cup Tomato Paste 3 cups Chicken Stock 1 cup Cream or Whole Milk 1/4 Fresh Parmesan (grated) Salt INSTRUCTIONS: Chop onion, celery and carrots and transfer to a small bowl. We like to chop it a little bigger for a rustic feeling. In a large pot over medium heat, heat Olive Oil and sautee vegetables until they become soft. Roughly 6-10 minutes. Add beef and break into small pieces. Cook beef until brown, roughly 10-15 minutes. Add Red Wine and bring to boil.  We always recommend using a wine that you enjoy drinking…a little for the pot…a little for you! Reduce heat to low, add tomato paste and stock. Let simmer for 90 minutes. After 90 minutes, add in 1 cup of Whole Milk and stir. Let simmer for an additional 45 minutes. In a pot, cook pasta in salted water until desired consistency. Using tongs, place pasta in the sauce with your delicious Bolognese. Let all the flavors mix together for 2-4 minutes. Serve immediately and top with more Parmesan✨

Life update: WE ARE MOVING + making some other major changes along the way📦 First and foremost: *we are staying in new york*🗽it feels as if so many people right now are re-evaluating their life and their future. We as well are feeling deeply introspective and questioning what it is and where it is we want to go next✨ We have been living in Chelsea, Manhattan for the last 5 years and have finally decided to move uptown for a quieter neighborhood and hopefully a little more space🤍 We have also been reflecting a lot on the pace of our lifestyle pre-Covid. We were constantly going, going going (that’s New York for you) with very little self care or work-life-balance. That’s all going to change going forward. We were so burnt out when we went to Miami in March and this pause in our life has given us a lot of time to think about what makes us happy and what it is we ultimately want out of our life. It comes down to one theme for us: BALANCE. While Broadway remains shut down and restaurants continue to navigate through the “new normal”... we are filtering out the people, places and things that are most important to us and only engaging with things that fuel our fire... Not diminish it. We know lots of you have been taking this time to re-evaluate your life as well and while this time is extremely difficult for many of us... we encourage you to use this pause to really think about what it is that makes you happy and lean into it whole heartedly going forward❤️
