Sooo glad the days of doing things I didn’t really want to do all in the name of being a ‘good friend’ or ‘good employee, good family member’ are over. I spent 5 years in isolation getting back in tune with who I truly am at my core ~ no outside influences. And when I re-emerged, I attracted people in perfect alignment with who I am. It still blows my mind when a friend asks if I want to go watch the full moon rise, or get up early to sit on top of an RV and watch the sunrise. 🌄

Daily Reminder: You are a freaking goddess✨ . . This week has been one of pure beautiful feminine energy with all of the classes that I taught this week being solely women. These are my favourite kind (Yes- I’m biased 💁🏼‍♀️) . Earlier in the week I was blessed with the chance to flow with the beautiful @sjanaelise and 8 other amazing women on the top of the Burj Al Arab Helicoper Pad. Wow! Definitely a “pinch me now, I must be dreaming” moment. Holding space, moving, breathing, supporting one another- we truly are stronger together. . . There’s no containing the undeniable power of feminine energy. It’s one of the most dynamic and captivating forces in the universe, inspiring creativity and igniting the nurturing flame that fuels existence. In Hinduism and Buddhism, one representation of the “Great Divine Feminine” is the concept of “Shakti.” Shakti is the cosmic energy of the divine feminine and the activation of that energy to spur incredible things! ☾ ☼ . . Also, Wishing my beautiful soul sister an extra special birthday today💗 @medinamaste ✮ . . . . #goddess #shakti #yoga #yogainspiration #yogapractice #yogaindubai #internationalwomensday #yogaflow #yogaeverydamnday @burjalarab @dubaiholding

Instead of looking down all the time at your phone, try looking up!⁣ ⁣ Heaven is here, but If you are entraining your consciousness to your phone, technology, and social media every day, how is there space to realize and embody the Infinite?⁣ ⁣ Make room for spaciousness. ⁣ ⁣ Make room for Mama Gaia and her abundance.⁣ ⁣ Make room for contemplation and self inquiry. ⁣ ⁣ Make room to experience your True Beingness and allow your Self to be intoxicated by your own energy field of Love!⁣ ⁣ Our world is our design. And for me, I choose Heaven on Earth and that doesn’t begin anywhere else but with me and my relationship to Self.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ INjoy playing IN Creation friends,⁣ ⁣ Anna🌻⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣

. Kurma means turtle is the second avatar of Vishnu. As per the Puranas the legend goes as below. There was a rishi named Durvasa (known for his anger). The wise Durvasa gave a garland(Received from Shiva) to Lord Indra who is known to be the king of Gods. Lord Indra positioned the garland around his elephant(Airavat) but Due to the Aham Bhava (Ego) of Indra garland fell down . As a result, Durvasa felt insulted and cursed the gods to lose their immortality and divine powers. Gods lost their powers including immortality and approached Lord Vishnu for help. Lord Vishnu then advised them to churn the ocean of milk (Palazhi Madhana) using Mount Mandara as the churning stick and serpent Vasuki as the rope. But as the churning started, the mountain started sinking. Lord Vishnu took the form of the tortoise or Kurma and kept the mountain afloat. As soon as the bowl of amrita was full, the nectar of immortality was out, along with fourteen treasures. These fourteen magnificent treasures were Kalpavriksha, Kamadhenu, Chintamani, Ucchaishrava, Airavata, Panchajanya, Bow of King Saranga, Rambha, Chandra, Varuni, Dhanvantari, Goddess Sri and Halahal. As a result of the churning, the asuras (demons) got hold of the treasure Amrita and became powerful. Post this, Lord Vishnu took the form of Mohini to lure them and made the asuras weak. Gods regained their powers and immortality. Lord Vishnu revived their lost glory and brought judgement to the world. . . . 🚩🙏Hari Aum Tatsath🚩🙏 . . . . . #happy #instagood #hindu #cute #ganesha #russia #mahadeva #shiva #meditation #canada #aum #om #beauty #namaskar #usa #spirituality #instamood #pic #like4like #uk #yoga #spiritualawakening #india #boy #harharmahadev #father #smile #followme #love #Krishna

My kids have never seen me drink alcohol. And that I abstain from drugs including alcohol is one of those choices that seems interesting to them in a society where „fun“ is more often then not directly induced by intoxication. . . . The truth is I never „gave up“ alcohol because that would imply I forced myself to stop something meaningful. The shallow euphoria of drinking & drugs has been forced upon us by people who often didn‘t know better or needed some sort of „medicine“ to get them through each day (aka friends and parents). Truthfully I got bored with intoxication coming from an external source and afterwards leaving me sick & tired. I just found something that works better for me. Intoxication without the toxins if you will. That‘s all. (Try any Yogic Breathing Technique for 11 Minutes and see how you feel). . . . (Mantra) Meditation, Music & Movement provides my life with much more adventure than sitting in any lame bar ever could. I don‘t care what choices other grown-ups make. But as far as my kid‘s questions go, the simple answer is this: I just found something more fullfilling, more exciting and more energizing than drugs and alcohol. The 3 M‘s (Meditation, Music, Movement) provide more than enough adventure in my life. So whatever you do, make sure you keep an open mind, that there might be something way more meaningful for you just around the corner if you are brave enough to look. . . . And to be completely honest it‘s really 4 M‘s since my wife Mitali is behind anything good that ever happened in my life. . . . #yogaofbecomingme 📸 @kundaliniglow
