lesbian is not a dirty word. being pro lesbian IS NOT anti-trans. there’s enough space for all of us to be heard. no one in our community should feel silenced or invisible. that’s all i’m finna say on this subject. . . . #bipoc #pride #pridemonth #lgbtqiaplus #blackillustration #lesbian #lesbianislove #wlw #lesbiansofcolor #sapphicpride #loveislove

I haven't shared my coming out story because it was a very traumatic experience for me. It wasn't LIT to be gay, NO ONE was coming out. LGBTQ+ wasn't seen anywhere in media and when it was, it was about going to hell or being a mental illness that needs to be eviscerated from society. I was the first at my all-girls Catholic school to “come out”(I was outted), and I was bullied for it, among other things. A lot of the girls who bullied me were gay themselves(I knew then) and I see them on the gay dating apps now, clink clink bitch 🥂. I'm not a "new gay" as some people might assume, and nothing is wrong with that, but that's not my story. I am a throwback gay. I knew young and I came out young. ⠀ ⠀ I decided to be visible and disclose my sexuality because I remember what it was like being a kid and not seeing myself anywhere, not being able to relate because my sexuality was so different from others. Children take their lives because of the lack of acceptance around their sexuality and gender and I refuse to not do anything about it. ⠀ ⠀ My visibility isn't about me, it is about LGBTQ+ youth seeing someone who looks like them living in their authentic truth, thriving, successful, being in love, having love, community, family(chosen or blood), friends, and so so much more. It is possible to be your absolute self regardless of the hate and violence that comes with being LBGTQ+ ⠀ ⠀ In my recent YT video (#linkinbio), "My LGBTQ+ Visibility Isn't About Me: A Message to LGBTQ+ Youth" as I share a sliver of my coming out story. Please share with LGBTQ+ Youth, it could save a life - yes, it IS that serious. Look at me as your big gay sister, your gay auntie. You don't have to do it alone. There is community and we are here. We exist. We are thriving. We have to be visible so you can find us. You are loved as you are. We love you. ⠀ If you would like to share your story &/or have a message to share for LGBTQ+ people and youth, please send me an email for a feature consideration on Haus of Matri: [email protected] Use the subject: My LGBTQ+ Visibility Isn't About Me: A Message to LGBTQ+ Youth⠀ Continues in comments 👇🏾#matribookclub #athrowbackgay

I’m not 💯 sure what to do with myself, other than have my usual 2 cups of coffee. Bri and William are on a short little trip and it’s just me and Chancho 🐶. This is the first time I’ve been on my own since we had William. Should I do nothing and just enjoy that? Go to a movie? Read a book? Sleep? What would you guys do? . . . . . . . . #documentingmotherhood #parenthood #team2moms #twomomsquad #queerparents #qwoc #ssparents #samesexparents #lgbtq🌈 #lesbianmoms #lesbianparents #gaymoms #gayparents #androgynous #tomboy #mamalife #motherhood #alonetime #lesbiansofinstgram #lesbiansofcolor #androgynoushair #momsofinsta #momlife #workingmom #saturdaymorning #saturdayvibes #saturdaymood

Soooo...this gorgeous woman of mine is why I’m at work dragging today! We decided to have a 2 and a half hour 90’s and early 2000’s karaoke session last night that didn’t end until 1 am! 😩 But it was honestly so much fun that we couldn’t stop! It’s so dope to have the most basic and random fun with her! ❤️

Relationships should never be one-sided and stop letting people tell you they should be 50/50 when really, relationships take 100/100 from both women involved!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #MelaninLesLove 💛⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ .⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ .⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ .⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ .⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ #BlackLove #Lesbianlove #BlackLesbianMagic #LesbianRelationship #LoveisLove #BlackLesbians #LesbianCouples #SameSex #Lesbians #EqualRights #LesbiansofColor #LGBTQ #BeautifulCouples #CoupleGoals #LesbiansMatter #RelationshipGoals #LesbiansBeLike #LoveWins #BlackLGBT #BlackLesbianCouples #LesbiansofColor #BlackGirlsRock #BlackGirlMagic #RelationshipsbeLike #GaysBeLike

The meaning of being a mother is virtually endless. A mother is a protector, disciplinarian and friend. A mother is a selfless, loving human who must sacrifice many of their wants and needs for the wants and needs of their children. A mother works hard to make sure their child is equipped with the knowledge, skills and abilities to make it as a competent human being. Being a mother is perhaps the hardest, most rewarding job a woman will ever experience. We salute all of you today. ♥️ Legacy 💋 #LezBeElegant #LoveWins #LoveIs #Her #Mood #Gay #Studs #Fems #Androgynous #Dapper #Lesbians #Wednesday #SelfCare #LGBT #RelationshipGoals #MommyAndMe #LGBTRoundtableDiscussion #LGBTLifestyle #LesbianLove #LesbianRelationship #LoveisLove #BlackLesbians #LesbianCouples #LesbiansofColor #LesbiansBeLike #BlackLGBT
