In love with the places I've never been and the people I've never met ✨⠀ ⠀ Three ways to visit the Wadi Rum Desert:⠀ ⠀ Jeep Adventure - This is the most popular way of exploring the desert. A local guide drives you across the dunes of Wadi Rum to the well known rock formations and sites. ⠀ How they know their way around? I'll never know!⠀ ⠀ Overnight stay at a desert camp - Spend the night at a bedouin camp so that you watch the sun set and rise on the desert horizon. Not to mention the night sky full of stars.⠀ ⠀ Desert Activities - There are so many types of active tours you can join; sand boarding, camel rides, desert hikes, hot air balloon tour. The active option for exploring!⠀ ⠀ 📸: @swinopass⠀ #visitjordan #wadirumdesert #travelissa
The fairytale city of Ljubljana, Slovenia! I’m not sure if it was the fairytale beauty of the whole city swathed in autumn light that made me fall in love with it!✨ Right now we dont’t know much about what the future brings, but if I return to Ljubljana I would like it to be in spring!🌿 The future will not, in crucial ways, be anything like the past. Our economy, our priorities, our perceptions will not be what they were at the outset of this year!✨ One of the things most dangerous to the hope for the future is believing that everything was fine before disaster struck, life before the pandemic was for sure not perfect for many of us and we don’t need to return to things as they were!🌿 With Easter comming up and lots of time for reflections I challenge you to think about changes you could do in your life to make it even better, to make life into a fairytale with a very happy ending!✨ Happy Easter Dear Friends!💛 #slovenia #ljubljana #jentersomheierpåjenter #sunrisesunsetphotogroup #sunriseoftheday #sunrisephotography #sunriseandsunsets #sunrisesunset #sunrisesunsetworldwide #churches #ferie #getaways #reisen #reiselust #europetrip #europetourist #budgettravel #postcardplaces #ifyoucandreamityoucandoit #followyourheart #followyourpassion #staythefuckhome #stayhomechallenge #stayhomesavelives #easter2020 #wednesdays #dreamnowvisitlater #grundermamma #gründer #haveagreatday

#TravelTuesday : 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 I hear it all too often when I talk about going abroad on my own: “I could never do that.” Why is that? They say: I’m too scared. I’ll be bored. I won’t find anything to do. I’ll get lonely. I’m worried about being by myself. I don’t want the pressure of planning. Guys, I hope I can help you realize that traveling alone is one of the best experiences you can have, both for what you get to do and for what you get out of it. Not only do you get to do things on your time, but by being alone, you are not compromising on ANY places you want to see or ANYTHING you want to do. It can be hard when traveling in groups to get everyone on the same page, but when you travel alone, your day is entirely yours. I absolutely LOVE the freedom of choosing how to spend my time, from start to finish. Want an early day for a sunrise? You got it. Are you determined to try as much local food as you can at your own speed? No problem! Do you take your time walking because you love to take photos or just take in the scene? Go ahead, there’s no one to answer to. With all this time, I’ve decided that every Tuesday/Thursday (one or both, I haven’t made up my mind yet!), I will be making a travel-themed post. To kick it off, I’m going to start with a series on what traveling alone teaches you: confidence, flexibility, appreciation, patience, communication skills, and preparation. Let’s end the fear associated with going anywhere alone, because once you get past that barrier, you will be opening yourself up to way more opportunities for adventure. We don’t need ANYONE to go do something with us - we are capable of doing it ourselves and absolutely thriving when we do. There are plenty of things that may hold you back, but fear should NOT be one of them. So when this is all over, book that flight. Plan that trip. Don’t wait for someone to come around and go with you. Go make your own adventure. 𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘦: 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘕𝘖𝘛 𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.
