Day 50 of CB: Decided to take a break from cooking and ordered some bagels which we have been seeing but have yet to try. The Hangover Helper and Sausage Fest are the recommended ones and i must say they are really hearty. Priced at $12 each, available on Deliveroo platform within vicinity. The matcha & houjicha drinks that we received as surprise delivery came in handy, match perfectly for a gloomy day today. In time for the fortitude budget announcement. Day 49 of CB: Just when i thought the man has shown all his cards up his sleeves, he pulled off this raindrop cake. Totally taken offguard by this made-from-scratch jello using only 3 ingredients, drizzled with maple syrup and sprinkled his favourite lotus biscoff crumbs. The combination works wonder and it tastes just as amazing as it looks altogether. A little tweak to the recipe and he made do with whatever ingredients we have in our kitchen, yet still scored in terms of the texture. In fact i enjoyed this one alot more than the ones sold out there. (Some out there were either tasteless or too firm for my liking). Gotta take my hats off for this guy. Anyway, here is the 3-step recipe using only 3 ingredients! . Recipe Step 1: Mix 10g of Konnyaku jellypowder with 1cup of sugar. We used Konnyaku here because that is what we have, but you can use agar agar powder if you have. Step 2: Pour the mixture gradually into 950ml of boiling water until fully dissolved. Step 3: Pour the mixture into a bowl and allow it to cool before popping it into the refrigerator. Add desired toppings and serve. . #EuCookJoEat #JoEuGoCook #raindropcake

Butter Cauliflower by @sculptedkitchen 🧡 . Chop up cauliflower into small to medium sized pieces (bite size but not too tiny either). wash and pat dry and set aside. in a bowl put together dry spices: 1 tsp of cumin. 1 tsp of onion powder 1/2 tsp of salt 1 tsp of garlic powder. toss florets inside and toss within the bowl to coat. add 1 cup of coconut milk and set aside to set for 10 - 15 minutes. afterwards, turn your oven to bake and bake on 375 for 10 minutes and then broil for 2 minutes on low. Meanwhile dice up 1 onion and throw into a deep pan coated with olive oil or avocado oil. Cook on medium - low. let it caramelize (until the onions are a soft brown) and throw in: 1/2 tsp of cumin, 1/2 tsp of turmeric, 1 tsp of coriander paste, 1 tsp of ginger and garlic paste, juice of half a lemon, 1/2 tsp of salt. Keep cooking until fragrant. Add 1.5 cans of coconut milk (full fat) and bring pan to a boil. add 1 can of tomato paste. Keep stirring and reduce heat to medium. Keep stirring until thickened. Add more salt, pepper or lemon juice if needed. Stir in your cooked cauliflower and gently coat them with the sauce, turning your spoon in the batter to allow the florets to absorb and coated. Add some coriander leaves and chilies and naan and you've got an amazing meal! . Enjoy! #bestofvegan
