☕️#qotd: do you write in your books? . . Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve found myself highlighting and annotating some of my books. If you asked me a couple of months ago, I would have said writing in a book is bookish sin 😂 but it gives me an opportunity to go back and read important/powerful lines in some of the books that I have been reading. . . A bookish update: I just finished Alicia Keys memoir More Myself and I absolutely loved it! I’ll post a review soon. . . Happy reading everyone ☕️ #booksandcoffee #coffeeandbooks #bookstack

A few years ago while I was reading the history of the USA, I was crying for the crimes committed against black people and Indians by the civilized West... . "If there is one thing that the majority principle does not apply to, it is human consciousness" I'm posting about a masterpiece of literature today, which everyone should read."To kill a Mockingbird". The author, Harper Lee, by using a child's perspective, finds a brilliant way to convey the oppression and injustice black people suffering and she couldn't find a better way because a child's soul speaks only the truth. @bellbooks . A black author named Dambisa Moyo wrote a book on 2011 under the title "How West was lost". I can see far beyond any economical problems the author talks about, I'd say West has chosen to get lost... . . . #booksandcoffee #bookstagram #bookgram #bookishfeatures #bookpic #bookaddict #readerofinstagram #readingtime #readerlife #bookaesthetics #bookalicious #becauseofreading #booklovers #bookhoarder #totalbooknerd #bookster #bookgeek #avidreader #bookfun #chillandrelax #readingislife #raisingreaders #bookstagramista #instaread #instavivlio #readandchill #booklove #vivlio #diavazo

Have you read A gentleman in Moscow? . It was time to transfer my notes of this amazing book in my notebook. A joyful story with a nostalgic air that taught me life isn't about what situation you live in, but about what you choose to feel. . "If you are ever in doubt, just remember that unlike adults, children want to be happy. So they still have the ability to take the greatest pleasure in the simplest things" a quotation I love and will keep in my heart for ever...❤️ @penguinrandomhouse . You can find the greek edition by @dioptrabooks . . . #booksandcoffee #bookstagram #bookgram #bookishfeatures #bookpic #bookaddict #readerofinstagram #readingtime #readerlife #bookaesthetics #bookalicious #becauseofreading #booklovers #bookhoarder #totalbooknerd #bookster #bookgeek #avidreader #bookfun #chillandrelax #readingislife #raisingreaders #bookstagramista #instaread #instavivlio #readandchill #booklove #agentlemaninmoscow

☕️#qotd: what is a book that you are excited to share with other people? . . For #favouritebookfridays tomorrow I will be reviewing The Amazing Adventures of Waldo by @tshawnblount ! . . First off, I want to thank Tashawn for this patience because he send me his book in September! . . When I read the first couple of pages, I knew this book was going to be special. I was also starting my Masters classes in Media & Design, so I decided to come up with a way to combine my passion of design and book reviews. . . Over the past couple of months, I’ve done tons of research into social media, design, and book reviews. With that knowledge, I’ve come up two ways to write the review. One will be in my feed and I’ll also be in my stories (I’ll also save it as a highlight). I’ve been testing different tactics (that’s why I used to draw in the stars for my review posts) but nothing has stuck. I think this method is going to be my best one yet! . . I’m really excited to show you guys this amazing book! It is one of my favorite YA fiction books of all time 😍 #theamazingadventuresofwaldo

Can you easily change habits? . With human beings habit is all, in everything, even in matters of nationhood and politics. Habit is the principal driving force, Dostoyevsky has written... I strongly believe that this is a true fact. We tend to stay in what we are used to than find the strength to change, when something doesn't do any good to us. . I'm the kind of person who can easily get rid of my habits when they aren't helping me develop any more. The only habit I couldn't change even if it was hurting me is reading, but then again maybe I would if I had to... . . . #booksandcoffee #bookstagram #bookgram #bookishfeatures #bookpic #bookaddict #readerofinstagram #readingtime #readerlife #bookaesthetics #bookalicious #becauseofreading #booklovers #bookhoarder #totalbooknerd #bookster #bookgeek #avidreader #bookfun #chillandrelax #readingislife #raisingreaders #bookstagramista #instaread #instavivlio #readandchill #booklove

📚 #BOOKFEATURE 📚 | #giftedbook @williammorrowbooks @tlcbooktours | - Happy Friday!! While I only worked three days this week, it felt like the longest week and am looking forward to the weekend. I’m excited to read RECIPE FOR PERSUASION, a book inspired by Jane Austen’s PERSUASION. This book is the second one in The Rajes series. I didn’t love the author’s other book, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ITHER FLAVORS. But I have seen better reviews of this one and as someone who doesn’t like classics, I prefer a modern-retelling. I’m especially excited for this one as it centers around food🥘 - What books are you reading this weekend? AAPI month is almost over which makes me sad. But I’m already not so patiently waiting for some new book releases next week and looking forward to my June TBR which overly ambitious. #bookwormproblems

QOTD// do you hear a voice like an inner speech in your head when thinking? 💭⁣⁣⁣⁣ • ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ so I recently discovered that cedrick does not hear a voice in his head when thinking, he just sees scenarios or pictures and I am shook! I researched it and noticed other people do this too!! what?! I for sure can imagine pictures and remember scenes but I hear my voice saying words as well.. I guess it explains why he talks aloud to himself so much 😂 interested to read how you all think, I’m really obsessed with this topic at the moment 🙈 • ⁣⁣⁣⁣ the edge of anything was the book of the month in the april @unpluggedbookbox 📦 ⁣⁣ rep code: cozy5 ⁣⁣⁣ • ⁣⁣⁣ #cozyascanbee day 28 - #throwbackthursday 🐝 ⁣ •⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ •⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ •⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ •⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ •⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ #theedgeofanything #norashalawaycarpenter #unpluggedbookbox #unplugged #oldsoul #readersofinatagram #allthebooks #aestheticfeed #bookaesthetic #bookaesthetics #bookishflatlay #bookish #bookishlove #bookishlife #cozyliving #warmandcozy #brownaesthetic #bookmoments #becauseofreading #bookcommunity #warmaesthetic #daysofsmallthings #simplemoments #momentsofcalm

☕️#qotd: what is your favorite psychological thriller? . . I mean this in the best way possible, but this was the WORST book to start reading at 1 am 😂 I was instantly hooked with the suspense, mystery, and plot twists. . The best way to describe this book is a combination of Stephen King, Divergent, and Inception. If you like these fandoms, then I highly recommend Syndrome. 5⭐️ . . 𝙰𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚋𝚘𝚘𝚔: After an accident, Peter’s mother is in a coma and his father is unable to cope. Because of this, Peter has no other choice than to drop out of school, start a job and take over the care of his little sister. One day he picks her up from school to take her to the mall. Then the unthinkable happens. They’re being followed. And their pursuer is not from this world… When his sister disappears, Peter starts to notice that more things are terribly wrong. Especially when no one seems to remember her. Even his father claims he never had a daughter. It’s almost as if she never existed… Syndrome is a suspense novel like no other that keeps you on the edge of your seat. If you like fast-paced stories, with plot twists that keep you surprised with every turn of the page, then you will definitely love this book by award nominee and bestselling author J.Sharpe. Thank you @jsharpefiction for a copy in exchange for a review! #syndrome #bookreview
