HOW ALL BEGINS vs HOW IS IT GOING This is my short story of how I was introduced to the gym: I was a semi- profesional football player, nothing major, just a group of girls running behind a ball 😜 Came to London and it was hard to find a female team that it was close to me and that the trainings didn't interfere with my work. So the first 2 years I did nothing. I started putting weight, I dislike my cheeks so much 😢 Just before I met my partner, 5 years a go, I started to lose weight, and went from size 16 to 10/12, I was impressed. But was I happy? NOPE. When my partner and I started to date, he introduced me to the gym, but it wasn't till a year or so later when I began training consistently and improving. I started to see results, I learned how to do a deadlift (that's another time story 😂) and squat more than my bodyweight. That's when I learned that gym is more than treadmill and pilates/zumba (you named it) It was about feeling powerful. I also learned that the body parts I was disliking all the past years, now are my favourite ones. I learned that the scale and your clothe size will not determine who I am. I think I’m on week 7 of being coached by @daniantonellos and woweee... it’s like the pieces of the puzzle are finally fitting together. I’ve been training for years, but I’ve realised how much time I’ve wasted on fluff- spending at least half an hour on stretches and irrelevant glute exercises to warm up, when all I really needed were a few activations and warm up sets specific to a) my injury rehab and b) the exercises I was about to perform. I’ve had to let my ego go and kind of start from scratch with my compound lifts- unlearning all the bad techniques and forms I had become complacent in, and really focus on correct movement patterns and tempo. Hammies & Glutes // Haven’t shared a hamstring-focused leg day in a while & they’re one of my fav training days so here’s what I did for my last session 💫 The week before this I gave myself the hamstring doms from HELL 🥵 so didn’t go too hard here but still a BOMB workout 💥 We know by now - it’s me so it’s a superset format, but also wrapped up with a little pyramid finisher, for a bit of sweaty spice to end 🔥 WORKOUT ⬇️ (all x4) superset ✨ * goblet squats x20 * sumo squats x20 superset ✨ * bulgarian split squats x20 * resistance band lying hamstring curl x10 superset ✨ * single leg RDLs x15 EL * hip thrust x15 superset ✨ * dumbbell good mornings x12 * resistance band pull through x10 PYRAMID FINISHER ⚠️ 50 abductions, 40 clam shells (20 EL), 30 elevated glute bridges, 20 box squat jumps, 10 kneel to squats Happy Friday pals 🦋 Here’s to the weekend 🙌 - not that it means anything to my furloughed ass lol but everyone else working/studying - have many a bev on me so I can imagine some normality! 🤩 On that subject, anyone else almost to afraid to get excited at the prospect of gyms reopening because they’re an eternal pessimistic & don’t wanna be disappointed when it doesn’t 😢😂 Sending lots of silent prayers to the gym gods out there - I need my lat pull downs please & I daren’t even dream of FINALLY getting my 100kg hip thrust 🙏🌟 (cheeky TS moment at the end for what has now become standard of me performing my own post workout concert 😂➡️)

Not gonna lie, my sleep schedule is so weird right now. I’ve never been a solid sleeper but waking up at 3:30a again got me on a whole different level 🥴 ⠀ ⠀ Naturally, I’m a night owl and feel the most productive between 5 pm- 3 am. It took years of coaching early 5 ams to break that cycle, but after a year of quarantine, I’m back at it, baby! 😅So, until I get it together, I sleep for 3ish hours at night and take a 2-3 hour nap during the day. Because of that my workouts are also at the weirdest times. I’m still training 5-6x/ week, just not at the same time every day. Obviously not ideal but I’m working on it! If someone can just please tell me there’s no need to study or make playlists at 1 in the morning, that would be great✌🏻⠀ ⠀ My funky sleep schedule is finally catching up to me and I’m feeling stiff. Just to get moving today and tire myself out some more I knocked out a lower body circuit. Something for you all to remember.. No matter how hard you try, you simply cannot out exercise a bad diet. If you want to lose weight or body fat then you must be in a calorie deficit. If you daily calorie allowance is 1600 then your weekly allowance is 1600x 7 = 11,200 If you consistently continue to eat over your weekly allowance then you will gain weight. It’s as simple as that. Eat less Move more Do both Move less Eat more Do both This is the EASIEST option for so many but for lots of different reasons it is the wrong path. You can begin to change your habits whenever you want to, you are in control!
