This was the only bit at the store close to the size for the conduit I needed - what was I supposed to do🤷🏼♀️ Anyway, this is always a great weekend for knocking out some projects around the house- Happy Memorial Day! Hope y’all have some fun projects. #notmyfault #bigtools #diy #minisplit #installation @mrcoolcomfort
Memorial Day originally started as Decoration Day in 1865 in Charleston, SC to honor 257 Union Soldiers who were buried in a mass grave in a Confederate prison camp. Formerly enslaved Charlestonians dug them up, and gave them a proper burial where Hampton Park sits today. Then, they celebrated the 257 who fought and died for their freedom. Here is to all of those who have sacrificed their lives for freedom and for this flag and our great nation, in hopes of making it more free and more unified, so that it is equal for all, and one day I pray it will be.
A big believer that the way history is taught is flawed to perpetuate the white male American history myth, so why don’t we pave the way to change it?
